I am looking for someone to care for my 27 month old daughter who has Trisomy 9 Mosaic--for now, I just need someone (or two people) for Mondays 7:30-4:30 and Tuesdays 7:30-12:30 and an occasional Friday. Pay is $15/hour.
I am located in Pilsen and would love to find someone reliable, caring, with a strong interest in pediatric and special needs care. My daughter is not mobile and will be getting fit for a wheelchair in the coming months, she has hearing loss (cochlear implant in one ear and hearing aid in the other), non-verbal but vocal, and takes nutrition via g-tube along with some limited foods orally. The nursing student would also work with Early Intervention therapists as they come to my house for different therapies every day of the week. I wonder if the Nursing School is able to advertise or make recommendations for this type of employment? I'm also interested to know about the pay a student would expect for this type of position.
