Hourly range for Registered Nurses $40.18-$62.31/ hour
- Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
- Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour
- Day Shift Weekend Differential- $2.90 / hour
- Evening Shift Weekend Differential- $5.90 / hour
- Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour
- Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour

Responsibilities*
- Provide nursing care to Internal Medicine patients specifically Allergy, Neurology and Pulmonary patients. May cross train to manage other Internal Medicine specialty patient populations as needed.
- Provide telephone triage, patient teaching, direct patient care, documentation with follow-up and coordination with ancillary services and related departments.
- Provide functional supervision to allied health staff.
- Work with the patients to develop and carry out clinical standards of care for various patient diagnoses.
- Independently and completely performs focused assessment to provide best practice patient care for families and patients with allergy diagnosis including food sensitivities, food allergies and other allergy diagnosis as appropriate.
- Recognizes Allergy Specialty information.
- Ability to develop Food Allergy specific protocols and competencies
- Collects, categorizes and presents data directly related to food allergy populations
- Prioritizes key nursing diagnoses to address physical and psychosocial/emotional areas.
- Practice is driven by theory and experience.
- Independently develops, implements, and evaluates plan of care that recognizes subtle changes in patients condition and adapts plan as needed.
- Experience in tele-health communication and phone triage.
- Utilizes standard unit technology and uses advanced technology as appropriate.
- Utilizes computer for basic functions as well as reference on patient conditions and treatment.
- Accurately assesses patient's/family's readiness to learn, organizes and executes individualized teaching plan, evaluates patient's understanding and modifies approach as necessary.
- Seeks out additional patient education resources beyond unit.
- Demonstrates ease in application of hospital policies and unit procedures and protocols.
- Anticipates, identifies and intervenes when there are concerns related to patient safety, staff safety and safe medication processes. Consults documentation to identify trends in patient status and enhance continuity of assessment and ongoing nursing care.
- Monitors referrals.
- Collaboration with other members of the health care team for optimal patient outcomes.
