The UIC Little Sparks Program is designed to support parent-students by providing resources for affordable, high-quality childcare for infants, toddlers, and young children.
The program provides financial assistance to cover up to 100% of childcare expenses for eligible student-parents. To apply for the program, eligible student-parents can submit an application form along with any required documentation to the Little Sparks Program office. Applications are reviewed, and assistance is awarded based on eligibility criteria and available funds.
To be eligible for CCAMPIS funds, students must:
- Receiving Federal Pell Grant
- Low income
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher
- Enroll and maintain full-time status
- Participate in a parent engagement plan
