Our scholarship covers those extra cost outside of tuition, and can include assistance for needs including, but not exclusive to:
- educational conferences
- instructional programs related to creative or artistic pursuits
- graduate exam application fees
- textbooks
Needs that are ongoing (e.g., utility bills, food costs) or related to medical care are NOT covered by this fund. This scholarship is not to fund tuition. The intention is to provide access to educational opportunities beyond tuition.
ELIGIBILITY
The students eligible for assistance shall be women attending high school, a two-year or four-year college/university, or graduate school in the United States. Students must demonstrate financial need. Applications must include two letters of recommendation and an essay explaining how the grant would be used. Selection will be based on application contents, financial need and information gathered from letter(s) of recommendation. Previous recipients are not eligible to reapply for this scholarship.

Who is eligible to apply? All women enrolled in a U.S. based institution – high school, college, university, graduate school, etc. – are able to apply regardless of citizenship. You must show proof of current enrollment in a United States based school.
What do I need in order to apply? Fill out our application fields, submit two blind letters of recommendation, complete the essay portion and demonstrate financial need.
What is my scholarship award and how can I use it? You may be awarded up to $1,000 to fund your dreams. This educational assistance can include needs such as, but not limited to: educational conferences, instructional programs related to creative or artistic pursuits, graduate exam application fees, and textbooks. Ongoing needs such as tuition, room and board fees, etc. are NOT covered by this fund.
How do I submit a blind letter of recommendation? All letters need to be uploaded by the person providing the recommendation. You will need to complete your application by providing their email address. Once the letter has been uploaded, you will receive confirmation. You will not have access to letters once they are uploaded in the system.
