Position Summary
This Graduate Hourly position will provide administrative support to the Department of Family and Community Medicine's research initiatives, projects, and studies. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate student to gain valuable experience in academic writing and research within their field of study.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in manuscript writing, editing and revisions.
Conduct literature searches to inform the project and manuscript development.
Assist with study protocol development and human subjects research institutional review board approval.
Assist with the collection, processing, and analysis of data. Summarize research and test results.
Develop project updates and brief reports for public announcements and media correspondence.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Responsible, self-motivated Gaduate Student in good academic standings who follows through on tasks effectively and excels in independent work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism with, and respect for, confidentiality and diversity.
- Organizational and data management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and reports).
Preferred Qualifications
The preffered candidate should be from the School of Public Health, Social Work, or other relevant discipline.
