Duties

The Nursing Academic Success Coach will support students enrolled in the LPN-RN Bridge and Associate Degree Nursing programs by promoting the use of wrap-around support services; serve as a remediation instructor for students struggling with application of concepts from theory to clinical; mentor and track student progress; assist with medication quiz tutoring and remediation; and aid in helping students succeed in the program and NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN.

Education/Experience

• Master's Degree in Nursing required
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nursing License required
• Minimum two years' clinical experience required

Qualifications

• Possess the ability and strong commitment to support student learning by the use of technology and innovation in the delivery of remediation and instruction, including the use of virtual simulation, lab, and simulation
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent time-management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a team member
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills
• Strong technology skills
• Nursing Student Tutoring experience preferred

Hours

Primarily Monday-Friday 9am - 6pm, occasional Saturday morning

Minimum Starting Rate: $59,180

Hourly/Salary: Salaried
