Position Summary
Community Outreach Intervention Projects in the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking an graduate hourly student employee to assist the investigator of an NIH-funded research program which aims to reduce opioid overdose mortality in Chicago and broader Illinois communities. Work is starting immediately, and hours/days are flexible. Time commitment is 10-20 hours during the summer semester, with the opportunity for more work over the summer.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with the development and creation of surveys and databases utilizing REDCap
Troubleshoot database management issues
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Must currently be enrolled in a graduate program at UIC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with survey development; and working knowledge of REDCap preferred, but candidates with experience utilizing other survey software will be considered.
- Experience with coding and the use of Java Script is mandatory.
- Master’s level student in Computer Sciences or related programs are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
