The overall MHC theme is "Interprofessional Health " and MHC strongly encourages the submission of research topics related to our annual sub-theme: "Working together across professions to improve health outcomes and equity".
Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary health is the theme of the 2023 Minority Health Conference. This theme is meant to highlight the importance of considering the lens that is used to assess minority health. The goal of this theme is to uplift differing perspectives and to increase the breadth of professions and methods that can and are used to address the health inequities faced by minority populations. Ultimately, this year's theme is meant to be inclusive to the research of all "traditional" health professionals (those that are typically at the table) and non-traditional health professionals whose work should be included in the conversation in regards to minority health.
