The University of Illinois Department of Medicine is seeking candidates for Senior Clinical Research Coordinator position. As part of this dynamic team, the IMHR Senior Clinical Research Coordinator manages, coordinates, and implements all components of a clinical research protocol, including pre and post research activities, internal and external to the clinical research setting. Manages comprehensive participant protocol to maintain compliance to study protocol requirements. Develops and implements effective participant engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies. Oversees all aspects of a large national, multi-faceted investigation. Directly manages a large staff of research associates and graduate research assistants and supervises all aspects of research participant interactions.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a research discipline is required. Experience in a clinical research setting, experience working with Federal Regulations and IRB’s. Prior experience with medical terminology and procedures. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Requires excellent communication, organization, presentation, and computer skills.
Spanish bilingual.
