Position Summary
The Department of Pharmacology is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position. The candidate will collaborate with the Principal Investigator on NIH sponsored projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Experimental design
Data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Manage and lead research projects for publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific meetings.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have PhD or MD/PhD degree with strong experience in studying endothelial biology, immunology and mechanotransduction. Successful candidate should have an excellent publication record. Ability to learn new research technologies, work independently and self-motivation is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise is also needed in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, immunochemistry, live cell imaging and image analysis.
