Purpose:
Fetal Cardiology: Understanding fetal circulation, when to refer, and the delivery workflow.
Learning Objectives:
· Differentiate between normal circulation and fetal circulation of the heart.
· Identify which patients with congenital heart disease get referred to a tertiary Maternal fetal health center and explain the triage process.
· Describe the education provided to patients and families regarding delivery planning and postnatal care.
· Discuss the differences between acute and non-acute diagnoses.
· Examine the Code Rainbow Workflow (high risk delivery transfers). Target Audience:
RNs, APRNs, LPNs, Nursing Students
