UIC Perinatal Network:
The Illinois Department of Public Health welcomes you to their Obstetric Hemorrhage quality improvement program. This course lays the foundation for technical skills, communication skills, and teamwork that will better prepare you to manage obstetric hemorrhage cases in your hospitals.
This is a hands-on, interactive course*. The morning will consist of reviewing the materials. The afternoon will provide an opportunity to practice various techniques that literature states is beneficial to decrease hemorrhage incidents.
*Please dress accordingly, simulated blood will be used.
