District office interns are provided the opportunity to assist the office in helping constituents navigate federal agencies ranging from topics like immigration, Medicare, and veterans’ affairs. District office interns are able to attend virtual webinars held by different government agencies and work with staff on various district-based projects and events.
They are also asked to assist with office work including working on projects, doing research, answering phones, and drafting letters.
