Join us for a special presentation by Lorena Nava, UIC undergraduate student, as she discusses the framing, approaches, and interpretations of femicide. Lorena’s two year project “The Language of Femicide” is a digital article on the discourse surrounding femicide in Mexico.
Lorena Nava is a senior double majoring in Communication and Political Science and minoring in English. She has worked on this project on behalf of the Engaged Humanities Initiative (EHI) program with her mentor Ralph Cintron.
