Program Overview
In this study abroad program, students will explore concepts in global health and disaster preparedness and participate in field-based disaster preparedness projects in collaboration with local agencies in the island nations of St. Kitts and Nevis.
This program is led by Dr. Gwyneth Milbrath in the College of Nursing.

- Mass casualty simulation on the beach Hospital visits
Eligibility & Application Process
Students who meet the following eligibility criteria are invited to apply to this program:
- Have completed 1 semester (minimum of 12 credits) at UIC by the time the program begins
- Be in good standing both academically and according to UIC’s Community Standards.
