Honors Research Symposium will take place in person on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Student Center East, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. (Presenter check-in 1:00-1:45)
On November 15th, the Honors College Research Symposium will showcase the work of students who have engaged in research or a capstone project. The Research Symposium is a qualified venue for the Honors Capstone public presentation requirement. Eligibility is limited to current Honors College students. Projects will be judged by UIC faculty and staff.
Abstracts to be submitted at the time of registration:
Students must register and submit an abstract (300 words or less) by 5 pm, Monday, October 31st. This is a firm deadline. The abstract content will depend on the nature of your work but should highlight the topic of the student’s research in language that is understandable to a broad academic audience.
The registration form will ask you to submit a project abstract/description of up to 300 total words for inclusion in the event program.
