The UIC L@s GANAS office--a support office for Latinx students in STEM--is recruiting UIC undergraduate students pursuing STEM majors to become mentors in our peer mentoring program for the *2020-2021 *academic year!
Mentoring con GANAS is a peer-mentoring program designed to support current and incoming Latinx students pursuing STEM majors at UIC. Through our program, incoming students are paired with advanced students in the same or similar major and work one-on-one as well as in larger group settings during Fall and Spring semesters. Our mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for incoming and current students to be involved with other Latinx students, be part of a supportive community, and receive academic and social support from peers.
