Dear Honors College Students:
This week's news of the cancellation of Spring Semester graduation ceremonies saddens us all. Honors College Convocation is a special event, and is always the first event in a series that lasts through the week: the stage is lined with fresh flowers, and for me, our place in the sequence symbolizes the idea that the Honors College comes first.
We will not let you depart without a proper farewell; it just won’t be a formal ceremony in the Arena. All of us are incredibly proud of all our graduating seniors, and we don’t want you to leave without a celebration of some sort. So please fill out your graduation forms!
