Honors College Lost & Found Policy: Effective beginning March 2020
As of the Spring 2020 semester, the Honors College is updating the lost and found policy for items left behind and recovered in Honors College spaces (the first floor of Burnham Hall within the Honors College, as well as the basement computer lab and classroom, and the second floor Burnham Hall Tutoring Center room). Any items lost within these spaces will be held at the Honors College front desk until the end of the semester in which they are found.
At the end of each semester, all items that have not yet been claimed will be donated to the UIC Office of Sustainability–or, if unable to be donated to the Office of Sustainability, to a local nonprofit organization.
Items found in Honors College spaces near the end of the semester will be held through the following semester. Items found in Burnham Hall but NOT in Honors College spaces will be taken to the main East Campus lost and found at the information desk in Student Center East.
Items currently stored in the Honors College lost & found will be donated by 4/1/20. If you'd like to check for any lost items, please do so before then.
