Be in the room where it happens! On February 20, 2020, Mayor Lightfoot will officially kick-off her anti-poverty agenda at the 1st Annual Solutions Toward Ending Poverty (STEP) Summit at the Dorin Forum. This day-long summit will feature first-hand accounts, panels, keynotes and breakout sessions leading up to Mayor Lightfoot’s call to action and next steps.
We are looking for 15-20 UIC student volunteers to help make this event a success. Volunteer shift will be from 7am-12:30pm, 12pm- 5pm, and 7am-5pm. Duties will include check-in/greeter, logistics, help with breakouts, etc. Snacks and lunch provided.
