Service Opportunities:
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
The Dr. MLK Jr. Day of Service is an awesome opportunity for you or your student organizations to come together and serve. This year, on January 20, 2020, UIC has partnered with North Lawndale Community Partners to provide various ways to engage with our neighbors – including a kickoff event at Stone Temple Baptist Church, where Dr. King spoke in the 1960s!

GIVE and Make Mondays Matter
Are you looking for ways to give back? GIVE (Get Involved with Volunteer Opportunities) and Make Mondays Matter are volunteer opportunities that take place once a month with different community partners. GIVE events, taking place the second Saturday of every month (off-campus), and Make Mondays Matter, taking place the first Monday of every month (on-campus), are great ways to give back in a meaningful way.
See all opportunities and 2020 dates for GIVE and Make Mondays Matter at http://service.uic.edu/.
UIC Day of Service – SAVE THE DATE
The UIC Day of Service is the largest service event of the year! The day brings together the entire UIC Community to give back to Chicago. The 2020 Day of Service will take place on April 18, 2020.
Registration will launch in early March, and will be available at https://go.uic.edu/uicdos.
