CALL FOR PROPOSALS!
The Women, Gender and Sexuality in the Middle East and North Africa Spring Symposium will take place on April 6, 2020, and we'd love for you to be a part of it! The Honors College is co-sponsoring this symposium and related interdisciplinary programming this spring, and would like to invite Honors students to share your research and join the conversation.
If you are:
- an undergraduate or graduate student with interests in the study of women, gender, and sexuality in the Middle East and North Africa or in MENA-related diasporas
- working on an interesting project or paper in your classes or community
- interested in sharing your ideas with a broader audience
there are many ways you can participate:
- Share your class project or final paper
- Organize a roundtable discussion or panel discussion with a group of students on a shared topic
- Lead an interactive workshop activity (eg. embroidery, film screening, zine-making, yoga, meditation, etc.)
- Showcase your poster presentation
