Please join GlobeMed for an informational HIV Panel and Potluck dinner tonight (12/3, 6-8pm in Lecture Center A4).
We have invited guest speakers Dr. Olamide Jarrett, Dr. Richard Novack, and Mr. Derrick to discuss HIV treatment, prevention, and research.
In particular we will discuss topics such as how to measure and monitor levels of HIV in large populations, how to implement effective strategies to combat HIV in urban vs. rural areas, and how to ensure community interventions are sustainable
This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about HIV treatment and prevention from researchers, physicians, and activists who have extensive experience treating and researching HIV here in Chicago as well as abroad!
This event will also be a potluck to celebrate the end of the semester! If you'd like, bring something to share!
