The food pantry helps prevent food insecurity in community families by distributing perishable and non-perishable foods for free or at a very low cost. This pantry runs mainly on volunteer contributions; we will be helping set the materials and food up for their weekly services during our time there. Please be sure to bring a hat to prevent getting hair on the food; in some cases, a disposable hair net will be provided, but take precautions and be prepared.
The food pantry is located in Pilsen, we will be meeting in front of SCE at 10:00 AM and will be taking the 60 bus to the pantry together.
