The USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship Program is now accepting applications! This is a national fellowship program that identifies and trains outstanding individuals for careers in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Named in honor of longtime development champion, the late Congressman Donald M. Payne, the fellowship encourages the application of members of historically underrepresented populations in international development careers and those with financial need. Selected through a rigorous nationwide competition every year, Payne Fellows attend U.S. graduate programs throughout the country, participate in professional development activities in Washington D.C., and complete internships on Capitol Hill and at USAID Missions. Payne Fellows enter the Foreign Service upon completion of the fellowship program and fulfillment of USAID entry requirements.
We will be hosting an information session for students this week (10/10 or 10/11). If you're interested, please contact Christian Sosa to set up an appointment: christian.sosa@howard.edu
