MIRC is developing the first independent, anonymous, nationwide platform to mobilize the power of crowdsourcing within the healthcare community in order to improve hospital safety. The interns would be working closely on web application development with the two technical founders of MIRC, who have wide-ranging experience in software development and user experience, as well as in the business of producing commercial software.
The intern team will be building the data analytics and visualization portion of MIRC’s customer-facing site to allow subscr ibers the ability to analyze, visualize and download the data we collect. Solid JavaScript, CSS, HTML skills are required, as is skill in database query construction and optimization. Experience integrating 3rd-party APIs would be helpful. Although this opportunity is currently slated for the fall 2019 semester, there is a strong opportunity for the team to continue on this project well into 2020.
