Join the Study Abroad Office and Office of the Vice Provost of Diversity to learn more about how to develop a strong application for the Gilman International Scholarship for Study Abroad Students. The scholarship is for students who receive the Pell Grant.
Gilman International Scholarship Workshops

The workshops will focus on the following:
- Learning how to tailor your essay to the specific Gilman Scholarship requirements and review criterion.
- Thinking critically about your identity in relation to Study Abroad and how to showcase that in your application
- Improving your writing skills
Additionally, at the workshop you will hear from UIC Study Abroad alumni talk about their international experiences and how scholarships made that possible.
