The Roosevelt Institute works to redefine the rules that guide our social and economic realities. Our members organize on 130 college campuses and 40 states nationwide; making it home to the nation’s largest student network of emerging doers and thinkers. Our members work with policymakers and communicators to write and enact local, state, and national policy, as well as to provide ourselves with clear, principled ideas and visionary, actionable plans. From expanding mental health resources on campus to developing tools to fight gentrification, the Roosevelt Institute at UIC provides opportunities for the next generation of leaders to advocate for their communities.
If you are interested enacting change in your community through policy or advocacy, join the Roosevelt Institute at UIC this Wednesday (9/4) at 6pm in the CUPPA basement student lounge. The CUPPA building is on Peoria Street directly North of the UIC Halsted Blue Line. Please contact Pal Shah (palshah2@uic.edu) or Ivan Cazarin (icazari2@uic.edu) with any questions!
