In observance of the federally-recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, known today as "9/11 Day," we hope to dedicate time to help others in the spirit of service, unity and peace, in tribute to the victims of 9/11 and terrorism worldwide, first responders, and the many who have risen in service to defend freedom.
This year we are partnering with the 9/11 day project to pack 300,000 meals with 1,000 other volunteers from all over Chicago. Come join 9/11 Together Tomorrow for their annual meal packing event and for their first-ever event in Chicago at Union Station on Wednesday, September 11th. UIC Students will be able to choose from 2 shifts: 11AM-1PM and 2PM-4PM.
