On April 17, 2019, the UIC Society of Future Physicians is organizing a lecture event with Dr. Mary Lou Schmidt, a pediatric hematology and oncology expert at UI Health. Dr. Schmidt, who is also a professor of pediatrics and division chief of pediatric hematology/oncology in UIC’s College of Medicine, has been practicing for more than 30 years.
