Gamma Phi Omega alongside the Roosevelt Institute is hosting Period: The Menstrual Movement to feature Nadya, the founder of the non-profit organization PERIOD, for an evening dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding the menstrual cycle.
There will be a discussion after Nadya speaks with a moderator from Gender and Women's Studies. There will also be a menstrual product drive where people can donate menstrual products that then are donated to local homeless shelters named by the Period Project in Chicago.
