WHAT: The Summer Law & Leadership Academy is a FREE one-week experience designed to introduce current undergraduate students from historically underrepresented backgrounds to law school and various careers that they may pursue with a law degree. If you are selected for the Law & Leadership Academy, you will learn about hot topics in the law and strengthen your academic skills. The Summer Law &
Leadership Academy will include:
- Introduction to the Criminal Process
- Legal Skills & Writing
- Hot Topics in the Legal Field
- Networking Opportunities
- Guest Speakers & Field Trips
- Career Options in the Law
- Mock Trial and more!
WHO: Current undergraduate students who have completed at least 32 credits and have a minimum 2.50 GPA. People who have graduated from college are not eligible to apply.

If you are accepted into the program and reside outside the greater Indianapolis area, we will work with you to find housing at a reduced rate.
REGISTRATION: Complete the online application and submit a letter of recommendation from a college professor or advisor and an unofficial copy of your college transcript. Your completed application is due by April 5, 2019.
