Fulbright Week -- April 8 - 12, 2019
The Fulbright US Student Program offers research, study, and teaching opportunities in 140+ countries around the globe. Each year, Fulbright sends over 2000 American college graduates and graduate students overseas, and UIC students are among this group every year.
Students at all levels are welcome to attend any/all info sessions, because it's never too early to learn about this amazing opportunity. RSVP for any/all sessions here.
The application cycle to fund a year abroad in 2020-2021 opens on April 1, 2019. For UIC undergraduates who plan to graduate in May 2020, this will be your first opportunity to apply for the Fulbright, though you are eligible to apply until you have a PhD in hand. OEF provides extensive advisement and support to all UIC undergraduates (and undergraduate alumni) applying for the Fulbright beginning this April when the new application opens. Students typically work with OEF through the summer on Fulbright applications.
Please join us during Fulbright Week to learn more! RSVP for one or more events here: https://forms.uofi.uic.edu/sec/4906950. Food provided according to RSVPs.
