Dr. Amynah Pradhan is seeking to hire a student during their gap year to work in her lab focused on chronic migraine and psychiatric disorders.
The successful candidate will have laboratory research experience and an interest in the
pharmacology of neurological and/or psychiatric disorders. They must be comfortable working with rodents, experience preferred. Preference will be given to people with experience with immunohistochemistry, western blotting, or behavioral pharmacology. Ability to work independently with an average amount of supervision. Demonstrated ability to follow through on work assignments. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in health, biological or chemical sciences, and at least one year of experience in a scientific laboratory or a combination of education and research laboratory experience that can be judged to be equivalent.
