The Division of Urology at Stroger Cook County Hospital is looking for motivated students for a project that will look at the impact of the association between smoking and erectile dysfunction on smokers and non-smokers. This project is being facilitated by the Chairman of Urology, Dr. Courtney Hollowell at Stroger Cook County Hospital. Duties as a research assistant will include attending urology clinic times during the week and completing questionnaires with patients. This opportunity will count as a research experience that students may add to their resume. The urology department hopes to submit the findings for publication this summer.
What we are looking for: Students with availability during mornings or afternoons for at least twice a week for two to three hours. The timings are flexible and understand students have busy schedules.
