Greetings!
We're so excited to announce that the Mental Health and Disability Alliance will be hosting Mental Health First Aid trainings at UIC throughout the Spring 2019 semester. This certification, which usually costs upwards of $500, will be offered for free with sponsorship from AMITA Health Care systems to support MHDA's mission of increasing mental health awareness and services on college campuses.
The 9am - 5pm Mental Health First Aid trainings will be offered on the following dates:
All of these dates will be open to the UIC community as a whole. Students will be able to access the trainings for free, however we request that faculty and staff provide a $10 donation (or an amount they are able to offer) to support the organization and ensure the possibility of hosting future workshops and trainings.
If your RSVP suddenly changes, please email us immediately to avoid waste of catered meals and materials provided by our sponsor for your certification. This will also allow other interested individuals to participate.
We hope to see you there!
