Great opportunity for Honors College students interested in obtaining hands-on research experience in community-based health research!
UIC’s Institute for Health Research and Policy is currently recruiting undergraduate research assistants (RAs) to assist in a research project, “Promoting Seniors’ Health with Home Care Aides” (Pro-Home), funded by the NIH-National Institute on Aging, for December 2018 and for the Spring semester. We are looking for RAs who are interested in gaining research experience for course credit, as a participant in the Chancellor’s Undergraduate Research Award Program or as a volunteer during the spring semester.
Our research team seeks research assistants who want to be involved in all aspects of research including literature review, data entry, conducting surveys, research methods, etc. Prior experience with data entry and literature searches. Excellent organizational skills and extreme attention to detail. Excellent written/oral communication. Bilingual in English-Spanish is necessary. You will receive training for all the tasks.
