An excellent, paid student leadership opportunity at UIC is the student leader role of Orientation Leader! UIC Orientation hires Orientation Leaders to deliver a smooth and exciting transition to new students, families and guests throughout the summer prior to the start of the next academic year.
As an Orientation Leader, you can expect to develop and/or grow leadership skills, be a positive role model for new UIC students, represent the UIC community and gain professional working experience. This role allows you to build your UIC network, connecting you to new students, fellow student leaders and multiple academic departments and offices around campus. Many Orientation Leaders continue to take on other leadership roles in the UIC community and do great things years beyond their time at UIC!
