The Office of Campus Learning Environments at UIC is seeking a few Honors College students to serve on their Advisory Board. The impact you can make on UIC classrooms and Oases is great and the time commitment is minimal (only 1-1/2 hours per semester).
Student input is very important to the design of these spaces! If you’re interested in being a member, then please send an email to the Director of the office (Dave Taeyaerts, davet@uic.edu) with your name, year in school, major and why you’re interested.
In the past 7 years, Advisory Board members have helped shape major renovations of Douglas Hall, Lecture Centers A and F, Thomas Beckham Hall and more. It is an exciting time to become a Board member since designs for the renovation of Lecture Center C as well as the third floor of Burnham Hall will be discussed this fall. Your input on these and other exciting learning space projects at UIC would be valued.
Thank you!
