Project: VISION (www.projectvisionchicago.org) is a small grassroots nonprofit organization serving youth ages 12-18 in Chicago's Chinatown, Bridgeport, and surrounding neighborhoods. We are seeking both volunteer and paid tutors for our After School Homework Tutoring Program, which serves more than 200 students primarily from lower income, first generation families at our youth center in Chinatown.
Throughout the school year, tutors will assist students in grades 6-8 or 9-12 with homework, test preparation, and help students develop good study habits, academic skills and knowledge. We are seeking tutors with strong personal academic records (any major) and enthusiasm and passion for teaching!
