The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) is looking to hire approximately 20 undergraduate students for the Peer Success Coaching Program this academic year. With this goal in mind, ACE is counting on the support of UIC faculty and staff in identifying and referring good candidates. Interviews will begin the third week of July and will continue until all positions are filled.
Information about the position is as follows:
- Hourly rate is $13.00/$14.00 per hour
- Students should expect to work during the fall & spring term and work 10-15 hours per week (the average is about 7-10 hours)
- Students will receive ongoing professional development and must be available Fridays from 3-5 pm
- Students who join the team will be mentored and supported by an ACE Coach
- To qualify, students must be in good academic standing, eligible for federal work-study, have a minimum GPA of 2.8, and be a sophomore or above
- A minimum of a resume and one reference letter is required
