This message outlines the steps that you will need to take to finalize your work in the Honors College this semester. You must file completion paperwork for either:
A) CAPSTONES THAT ARE COMPLETED: The Honors College Capstone Completion Form is required for students registered for HON 322 who have completed their Capstone project at the end of the semester. The form must be signed by the Project Supervisor and Fellow. Print and submit the signed Completion Form to the front desk by 4pm of the 15th week (Friday, May 4, 2018). In addition, students are requested to upload a copy of their completed Capstone project to Blackboard - see CAPSTONE SUBMISSIONS link.
B) CAPSTONES THAT ARE STILL UNDERWAY AND WILL BE COMPLETED NEXT SEMESTER: The Honors College Capstone Progress Report is required for students registered for HON 322 who have NOT completed their Capstone project at the end of the semester and will be continuing next semester. Print and submit the signed Progress Report Form by 4pm of the 15th week (Friday, May 4, 2018). Note that the form only needs to be signed by the Project Supervisor.
TO ACCESS YOUR PROGRESS/COMPLETION FORM:
Log into the Honors Activity Reporting Service (http://www.honors.uic.edu/HARS/) to print out the completion form and get the appropriate signatures before handing it into the college. In order to obtain a completion form, your signed agreement form or proposal update must have been received by the Honors College at the beginning of the semester. You can view and print your Completion Form and then and submit the signed form to the front desk of the Honors College. If you do not have any forms awaiting completion signatures then the Honors College does not have your Proposal/Agreement Form on file. Contact the Honors College reception desk if you believe that you submitted an Agreement Form that was not logged in.
Please contact your Faculty Fellow or Honors Advisor if you have any questions.
