Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering Laboratory (1227SEL) in the Department of Civil and Materials Engineering at UIC is looking for a summer intern to work on a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded research project during summer 2018. This research project is conducted under the direction of Professor Krishna Reddy.
The role of the intern entails assisting the doctoral students in their experimental research program which involves setting up the experimental apparatus, using gas chromatograph to take gas samples, monitoring of the experiments, preparation of test samples, and performing simple tests on materials such as soil for characterization.
No prior background or experience is required. The working hours are flexible (maximum 30 hours per week at $10/hour). Interested students are requested to email their updated resume to Ms. Jyoti Chetri at jkc4@uic.edu.
