I wanted to reach out to all of you and let you know about an important upcoming event that I am coordinating, along with my colleague Liz Thomson. This webinar will discuss the importance of intentionally fostering disability community on college campuses. As a disabled student at UIC, I can speak to how much room for growth we have in this area and am so excited to see where we will go.
This webinar is being sponsored by the Office of Access and Equity and Chancellor’s Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities, as well as being hosted by the Honors College! Thanks to all those who helped make this happen!
