The Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium (CAURS) is one of the country's largest annual undergraduate research conferences, bringing together hundreds of undergraduate students in the Chicagoland area from all academic disciplines to present their research. Through poster presentations, oral presentations, and roundtable discussions, attendees experience the impressive breadth and depth of research being conducted by their peers and have the opportunity to network with other undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and representatives from industry and graduate and professional schools.
CAURS 2024 will be held on April 27th at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. CAURS 2024 is a fantastic opportunity for UIC students to present the research they have been working on and an excellent space to network with like-minded students, faculty, and scholars across the Chicagoland area. Registration is completely free to all UIC students, and lunch will be provided for all attendees. As the 20th anniversary of our symposium, we have decided to make this year's symposium extra special with a keynote address from Chandler D. Robinson, the founder of CAURS and our River North venue. Don't miss this amazing opportunity!
