The UIC Heritage Garden is now accepting applications for the Summer 2018 paid internship program!
The UIC Heritage Garden is a hands-on learning project with an internship program. Student interns work with faculty, staff, and community members to connect horticulture with environmental sustainability, cultural diversity, and social justice. We are seeking to hire upcoming Sophomore and Junior undergraduate UIC students for general internship positions and one photography & media position.
The internship will be from May 29 - August 17, 2018 with a one week break from July 2 - July 6th. Summer interns will be expected to work 20 hours a week, from 10am-2pm, Monday through Friday. Interns receive a stipend of $2,100. Applications are due Friday, March 16th by 4pm. Students will need to turn in a typed hard copy of their application and resume to the Latino Cultural Center offices (lower level of LC B2).
