Campus 1871 is a weekend-long collaborative cross-campus initiative between 1871, the University of Illinois System, Northwestern University, Illinois Institute of Technology, DePaul University, DeVry University, Loyola University Chicago, and University of Chicago. Selected students will meet at 1871 for a free weekend-long event to create their own startups with like-minded university students. The weekend will include Startup 101 crash courses, keynote speakers, mentorship, pitches, and a grand prize for the winning team.
When: Friday, April 13 (starting at 4:00pm) through Sunday, April 15, 2018 (ending around 3:30pm)

Apply: Current students from all majors (undergrad and graduate) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois at Chicago, and University of Illinois Springfield are invited to apply.

Transportation/accommodation: Students will be responsible for their own transportation to 1871, which is easily accessible by public transportation. Hotel rooms and meals for the weekend will be provided. The event itself is free.
