The Student Advocacy Coalition has seen the need for the empowerment of student voices and advocating the hopes and aspirations of this voter demographic to elected officials before they are in office. To aid in encouraging participation in civic engagement, we have worked tirelessly to provide an opportunity for student voices to be heard by candidates for Governor.
Don't miss UIC's 2018 Gubernatorial Candidate Forum! Candidates will be visiting our campus to discuss how they plan to tackle the higher education crisis. From rising tuition costs to the lack of more need-based financial assistance, students will have the opportunity to ask the hard questions when it comes to their future.
