Get to learn and use a variety of clinical skills to solve a case study!
The UIC Colleges of Applied Health Sciences (Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy) Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health as well as the Rush University Physician Assistant program are so excited to welcome you to our Clinical Skills Workshop! Join us on Tuesday, November 28th at the College of Pharmacy (833 S. Wood St) to have the chance to learn direct-patient-care clinical skills from current professional students.
You and your friends will be broken up into small groups and will rotate from one set of professional students to the next in order to learn a new clinical skill every twenty minutes. This year, you will follow a patient case in both inpatient and outpatient settings. We promise that you will walk away feeling like you learned a lot about patient care in a very short amount of time.
***Registration Required for Participation: The registration form will be made available for you to fill out on Wednesday, November 15th at 12:30 PM. At that time, you will be able to find the form on our website. We will be able to accommodate those who are first to register.
We are really looking forward to meeting you! Have any questions? Check out our event Facebook Page, or email Katherine at apha.asp.uic@gmail.com.
