If you are planning to renew your DACA, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DO SO BY OCTOBER 5, 2017.
Due to the changes put in place by the executive branch of the federal government, US Citizen and Immigration Services will not process renewal requests submitted after October 5th. If you are a DACA recipient and your work permit expires between September 5, 2017 and March 5, 2018, you may apply for a two-year renewal of your DACA, but your request must be received by USCIS by Thursday, October 5, 2017. Note: There is a cost to DACA renewal (usually almost $500), for which scholarships have been created by state and federal level entities. The two options do have a fast response times, but please, if you are planning to renew your DACA and need financial help with the application fee, contact them as soon as possible.
